Genuine Black Tahitian Pearl 14kt Solid Gold Wire-wrapped Rosary Click on Picture to Enlarge Detail Exceptional is an understatement. I finally was able to create my dream Rosary. It took a lot of pennies to save up for this, but after almost a full year, I was finally able to make a genuine real Tahitian Pearl Rosary! Baroque black Tahitian pearls in peacock overtone are used to make the Aves and the Paters. They are all unique and average in size of about 8mm x 10-11mm, so this is a big, heavy Rosary. As you can see by the picture, the pearls look like rainbows of light. They are mirror-like in luster, have the thickest nacre imaginable, that when you do the grit test, you can barely tell they're real. But they are! I took them to a certified GIA gemologist and he was quite impressed calling them a grade A baroque Tahitian. Each Pearl has been GIA appraised at $125.00. This Rosary is conservatively appraised at $14,000.00. The Aves are wire-wrapped in solid thick 14k wire and the Paters are capped with solid 18k handmade bead caps and accented with rare natural transparent pink sapphires. The center is a genuine Creed highly detailed Miraculous medal in 14k solid gold. The Crucifix is imported from the famous Feodorov shop in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Crucifix is known as "The Gospel" and it tells a story in the detailed pictures carefully engraved in solid sterling silver. Then, it is heavy gilded with pure 24k gold on the outside. This gold is not going to easily rub off like the flimsy plated vermeil you see in the market these days. It's almost like an enamel, but it's pure gold. These crosses are considered Museum quality collectables and have a value of up to $1800.00 in some places. The Gospel ~ Click Pictures to Enlarge Details
